Designing Courses in Easygenerator

Welcome to Easygenerator!

In this tutorial, you’ll see how to use all of the design features to create an engaging course in Easygenerator.

This time you will learn how to:

Themes

Using themes

In Easygenerator you can use themes to create a consistent visual design in your course.

To apply a theme to your course (it will be automatically applied to all of the pages), go to Themes in the Design tab and choose the color scheme you like.

Also, you can create your own theme, save it and re-use in other courses. Thus, you'll be able to brand all your courses in exactly the same way.

To create a theme, you need to adjust the design settings first by selecting a logo, background image, colors, and fonts. After you've customized your theme, click the Save theme button in the bottom left corner and type a name for the theme. It will be located it in the My themes section.

True or False?

  • You can apply different themes to separate course pages.
  • You can create your own theme.

Branding

Changing your background design can have dramatic effects on the overall appearance of your course, and it's easy to do in Easygenerator.

Easygenerator has a gallery of ready-made backgrounds. You can choose what most appeals to you in Branding tab.

If nothing suits you, you can fill a background with any image or color you want.

Besides, you can adjust background brightness and apply one of three display modes:

  • Full Screen - you'll get a full-screen image background
  • Repeat - you'll get a repeated image background
  • Original - you'll get a default image background
