Introduction

What is the Setit Credit Administration Tool?

The Setit Credit Administration Tool allows clients to easily manage Setit Credit configuration and view logs and data related to Setit Credit activity. 

Available administration features include:

  • Institution Details and Page Styling
  • Member Research Logs
  • Security Logs
  • Data Exports
  • Admin User Management

Navigation

Navigate the Setit Credit Administration Tool by clicking the menu on the top of the browser.  Tabs on the page allow additional navigation to sub-topics, where applicable. You can log in or out of the administration tool by clicking the option on the far right of the menu.

Log in to the Administration Tool

The Log in page is displayed when you are not currently logged in to the administration tool.

  1. Enter your Email Name. This is typically your financial institution email.
  2. Enter your Password.
  3. Check the Remember me? box if you want the browser to retain your Email name.
  4. Click Log in. The Admin Users Access page appears.

To log off the administration tool, click the Log off link on the right of the menu.

Forgotten Password

Send Password Reset Email

If you forgot your password, you can send yourself a password reset email from the Log in page.

  1. From the Log in page, click the Forgot your password? link. The "Forgot your password?" page appears.
  2. Enter the Email address associated with your account. This is typically your financial institution email.
  3. Click Email Link. A password reset email is sent to your email address.

The password reset email comes from a 'donotreply' address. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if it doesn't appear in your inbox within a few minutes.

Click the 'here' link on the email to start the reset password procedure.

Reset Password

When you click the reset password link in your email, the Reset password page will open in a browser.

  1. Enter the Email associated with your account.
  2. Enter the new Password. The password must meet the password policy.
  3. Confirm the password.
  4. Click Reset. Your new password is set. You will need to log in to the administration tool with the new password.


Password policy:

  • At least six characters
  • A non-alphanumeric character (e.g. !,#,@)A numeric character
  • A lower-case character
  • An upper-case character

Change Password

A logged-in user can change their password at any time from the Manage page.

  1. Click your email address on the right of the menu. The Manage page appears.
  2. Click the Change your password link. The Change Password page appears.
  3. Enter your Current password.
  4. Enter the New password. The new password must meet the password policy.
  5. Confirm the new password.
  6. Click Change password. The password is updated. You will need to log in to the administration tool with the new password.


Password policy:

  • At least six characters
  • A non-alphanumeric character (e.g. !,#,@)A numeric character
  • A lower-case character
  • An upper-case character

Users

Roles

Access to Setit Credit Client Administration Tool functionality has been grouped into roles according to the business needs of users.

System administrator - Full access to all functions of the administration tool.  Intended for financial institution users who will be responsible for the configuration and monitoring of Setit Credit. 

Executive user - Access to  Setit Credit export data and security logs. Intended for financial institution managers responsible for running and disseminating reports.

Staff user -  Access to Setit Credit member research logs. Intended for financial institution employees who will be assisting members with support issues.

If a user should be able to provide support to members or assist Setit Credit in troubleshooting, the account can be flagged as a Support Contact. Support contacts should be able to resolve issues in their area of expertise or locate an appropriate user to provide support. The Details field allows free-form notes that might include area of expertise or contact number.

View Users List

The Admin Access page is the first page you see when you log in to the Setit Credit Administration Tool. From the Admin Access page you can view or manage administration tool users, depending on your role. Most user actions are initiated from the Users grid where all administration tool users associated with your institution are displayed.

Add a User

Setit Credit System Administrators can add new administrator tool accounts from the Admin User Access page.

  1. Click Add User.
  2. Enter the user's Email. This is typically the financial institution email account.
  3. Enter a Password for the user. The password must meet the password policy.
  4. Select a Role for the user.
  5. Check the Active box if the user should be able to log in to the administration tool.
  6. Check the Support Contact box if the user should be a support contact.
  7. If the user is a support contact, enter Details in the box. This is typically a contact number and the user's area of expertise.
  8. Click Save.

Edit a User

Select the User to Edit

System administrators can edit user accounts to accommodate role changes, unlock accounts or deactivate a user who is no longer needed. From the Users grid, click the icon of the user account to edit. The edit icon looks like a pencil with paper. The Edit User page appears.

Edit the User Details

  1. Edit the user information, as required.
  2. Click Save. The edits are saved and you are returned to the Users grid.

Deactivate a User

Click Deactivate User

Administrator accounts cannot be deleted, but can be deactivated by a system administrator. All account history  is retained for purposes of auditing. 

  1. You must be logged into the administration tool as a system administrator. Select Admin User Access from the menu. The Users page appears.
  2. Click Deactivate to the right of the user on the Users grid. A confirmation dialog appears.

Confirm Deactivation

Click OK to deactivate the user or Cancel to return to the Users grid.

Send a Password Reset Email

Send Password Reset Email

All administration tool users can send a password reset email for another active user. This sends an email link to complete the reset password procedure to the user's registered email address. If the user is locked out, due to entering an incorrect password three times, a system administrator must edit the user and unlock the account. A locked-out user will not be able to complete the reset password procedure.

  1. Select Admin User Access from the menu. The Users page appears.
  2. Click Send  Reset Password Email to the right of the user on the Users grid. The icon looks like a key. A confirmation dialog appears. 
  3. Click OK to send the email or Cancel to return to the Users grid. An email is sent to the user's email prompting a password reset. The user will need to follow the steps below to reset the password and log in.

Click Email Link

From the Reset Password email, click the here link. A browser instance will open on the Reset password page.

Reset Password

  1. Enter the Email address for the account.
  2. Enter the new Password. It must conform to the password policy.
  3. Confirm the new password.
  4. Click Reset. The password is reset and the Reset password confirmation page appears.
  5. You are prompted to log in with the new password.

Member Research Logs

Introduction

Member Research Logs

Member Research Logs are used by financial institution staff to assist in troubleshooting member issues. These logs contain information about user enrollment and activity. Available Member Research Logs:

  • Member Snapshot
  • Activity Log
  • Disclosure Acceptance

Member Snapshot

When a member enrolls and accepts the disclosure for Setit Credit, this information is logged an available for view on the Member Snapshot tab on the Member Research Logs page. 

  1. Select Member Research Logs from the menu.
  2. Click Member Snapshot. The page appears.
  3. Enter the Member ID.
  4. Click Search. The date the user enrolled and the date of accepted disclosure appears. The ID for the disclosure also is displayed.
  5. From this page you can also de-enroll a user by clicking the De-Enroll button. 

Warning: De-enrolling a user will prevent the user from accessing Setit Credit. All user history will be retained for auditing purposes, but the user will need to re-enroll in Setit Credit if they wish to use Setit Credit in the future.

Double-click a record or click the Details icon in the right column to open the details pane for that record.

Staff User Authentication Log

Apply Search Criteria

Whenever an administrator account attempts to authenticate with the client administration tool, it is logged and can be viewed on the Staff User Authentication tab from the Security Logs page. 

Note: The maximum number of records displayed per page is 1,000. You may need to navigate to additional pages if the search returns a large number of results.

  1. You must be logged in to the client administration tool as a system administrator or executive user.
  2. Select Security Logs from the menu.
  3. Click Staff User Authentication. The log appears.
  4. Select the Search Criteria. For best results, select at least one criteria.
  5. Click Search. The matching results appear.

Filter Results

The records can be filtered to match a certain set of criteria by clicking to the right of the column label and selecting Filters. Not all columns can be filtered. More than one filter criteria can be applied.

Staff User Maintenance Log

Data Export

Data Exports

Data exports contain data related to member enrollment, actions and acceptance of disclosures, and actions taken by and on administration accounts in the administration tool. Data is exported as a Microsoft Excel (.csv) file. A date range must be specified. 

Member Data Exports

Member Activity

All member activity is logged and can be exported.

  1. You must be logged in to the client administration tool as a system administrator or executive user.
  2. Select Data Exports from the menu.
  3. Under Member Data select the beginning and end dates for the data to export.
  4. Click Export. The data is exported to the Downloads folder as a Microsoft Excel file.

Tip: Selecting a long date range may produce a large file and impact the time required to create and download the file.

Active Members

A list of all active Setit Credit members is available for export. This includes all members who have completed the enrollment process and have not unenrolled.

Disclosure Audit Trail

Setit Credit tracks the date that a member accepted the disclosure and the version of the disclosure that was accepted. This information is available even if the member is excluded or unenrolls from Setit Credit

Staff Security Data Exports

  1. You must be logged in to the client administration tool as a system administrator or executive user.
  2. Select Data Exports.
  3. On Staff Security Data, select the beginning and end dates for the export.
  4. Click Export. The data is exported to the Downloads folder as a Microsoft Excel file.

Tip: Selecting a long date range may produce a large file and impact the time required to create and download the file.
