Creating an achievable project plan – The successful completion of a project is based on setting clear objectives required to achieve the end result responsive to your stakeholders needs.

Using the SMART Goal principle, you will be able to determine the A-Z necessities of your project.

SPECIFIC – What you want to do? Break down activities & objectives into detail always keep in mind the purpose of the project & what the client wants to achieve at the end of the project.

MEASURABLE – How will you know you’ve achieved it? Determine what is to be achieved? Have you met your objective at the end of the project?

ACHIEVABLE – Is it in your power to accomplish? Is the budget sufficient? Identify a strategy for completion.

REALISTIC – Is it realistically achievable? Factor in the availability of resources, the time required to complete the project, has it been set within a realistic deadline? Are the client’s expectations more than what can realistically be achieved?

 TIMELY – When do you want to accomplish it? Have you involved your project drivers to assist with the successful execution of the project plan?  Draw up a time schedule to track you progress and revise if required to see if objectives will be met successfully
