Gradecam is a grading tool that allows teachers to grade assessments using their mobile phones, webcams, or document camera.  It may be linked to your PowerSchool gradebook too, It saves time and it is easy to set-up and use.  This course is designed to help you use Gradecam to make your life easier.

Creating Your Account

Gradecam has been purchased for free use by teachers. However, each teacher does need to setup an account using their school email.

Creating an account is easy and there are many benefits to activating and using your account.

Setting Up Your Class

Once you have created your account, you will need to set-up your classes in sync with your PowerSchool rosters.  To complete this step you will need to access your PowerSchool roster information. It may seem daunting, but it is really a simple and quick process.

Linking to Your Gradebook

One of the most handy features of Gradecam is that it directly syncs to your PowerSchool gradebook.  This means that when you scan an assessment you can have Gradecam send those grades directly to your gradebook - you will not have to enter them separately.  It is a seamless process that saves you time.

Prior to scanning your students work you have to first create an answer key for any assessment within Gradecam. This is a fast process, and each key will save for use semester after semester. You may also share keys with other teachers. This is especially helpful for common assessments.

Scanning and thusly grading assessments in Gradecam could not be easier. Gradecam bubble sheets may be scanned from your computer, laptop, mobile device, or document camera. There are Gradecam apps available for almost any device. The process is fast and easy.
