Playlists & Hot Sets

Think of our D&D playlists as time-tested cheat sheets. The idea is that the first 10 songs in each genre or themed playlist (50s, 60s, 90s Hip Hop, etc.) should work in most situations where that genre is requested. After the top 10, think of the rest as other great options, though not necessarily ranked in order of best to worst.

Example: 60s Playlist

In this example of a 60s Playlist, "Twist & Shout" by the Beatles is considered a definite "go-to" song for this genre. You should feel safe playing it for virtually any crowd you think would enjoy this genre and getting a positive reaction.

As you gain experience, you may develop your own favorites based on crowd reaction and feedback. Know that these playlists are tools, and not a substitute for your own best judgment.
