This course will teach you the various reactivation types and how to assist our Panel members in each situation.

Reactivation in the US

Often Panel members call or email the Panel Support Center after their account has been dropped.  Many of them want to be reactivated and begin scanning again.

Reactivating Dropped Panel Members

Depending on their Drop Status and their transmission history, we may be able to reactivate a Panel member.  First we will discuss the reactivation procedure for US Panel members.  

Drop Statuses

Drop Returned

The Panel Member's equipment was returned broken or for a Swap and the account was dropped in error. 

  

Drop PR

The Panel Member requested to be dropped.

Drop Undeliverable

The equipment was returned to our warehouse as undeliverable. 

Note: There may be an address problem or maybe no one is home to sign for the package. 

  

 

Drop Statuses

Drop New HH Violator 

Panel member is a new household and has never transmitted. 

  

Drop Regular 


Panel member has not transmitted in the last 8 weeks. 

 

Account was dropped by Operations due to too many households in the market (Comments by Toni Smith). 

  

 

Drop Cumulative Violator 

Panel member transmits sporadically and with low dollar amounts – Non Static. 

  

Match the Drop Status with its definition

  • Drop Returned
    Equipment was returned broken or for a Swap and the account was dropped in error.
  • Drop PR
    Panel member requested to be dropped.
  • Drop Undeliverable
    Equipment was returned to our warehouse as undeliverable.
  • Drop New HH Violator
    Panel member is a new household and has never transmitted.
  • Drop Regular
    The Panel member has not transmitted in 8 weeks.
  • Drop Cumulative Violator
    Panel member transmits sporadically and with low dollar amounts.

You can Reactivate!

1.  Review existing comments in panel

2.  Complete the Reactivation form located on your desktop.

3.  Advise the Panel member that we will respond via email or a phone call in 2-3 business days.

4.  Add your comments in Panel.
