Welcome to my course, my name is Lucius Sykes and it is my distinct pleasure to provide you with instruction and hopefully, teach you something new about Pythagorean Theorem. I hope that you find this course enjoyable and enlightening.

Course Overview:

Pythagorean Theorem defined with Historical Perspective will focus on providing a basic understanding of the theorem. It will also address some of the most impactful elements of its historical background. The course will define the theorem and how to apply it in practice. It will also provide a factual baseline for the theorem with forms and proofs.

Course Goals and Objectives:

Learners will be provided an answer to the question "What is Pythagorean Theorem?" and acquire the skills to apply the theorem.

By the end of this course student should be able to:

  1. Define the Pythagorean Theorem.
  2. Recognize its significance from a historical perspective.
  3. Identify the multiple forms and proofs of the theorem.
  4. Solve an equation with Pythagorean Theorem.

 

Structure of the Course:

This course will utilize many types of interactions for learning purposes. Students are expected to review all learning content, readings and any other type of learning activities.
