                                                   How Sociology Views Social Problems  

This is an introductory course to the study of Social problems and how sociology intermingles

and influences lives. The course is a review of the nature of being human and how people

interact with each other. Through this study students will gain an understanding of social problems, learn how to explore and evaluate and be aware of the forces that shape lives; have a clear understanding  and vision of why sociology cannot decide moral issues and  understand the basic theories namely symbolic interaction, functional theory, conflict resolution and how it relates to society and  have a clear understanding about the paradigm of sociology and various steps in using scientific methods.
