The collaborative program aims to modernize and simplify the way we work together using collaborative technologies.

From January 2016, Michelin Group will replace the Lotus Notes tools with a new more modern and more connected solution called Office 365 (Microsoft).

To connect, you need to open Firefox or Internet Explorer 24 and 11:

  1. Go to https://login.microsoftonline.com
  2. Enter your email address Michelin (you will then be redirected automatically to the Michelin login page)
  3. Michelin enter your password (the same password you use to log on your PC)
  4. Validate

    • On the "Start" menu

Install and configure Office 365 in you Michelin PC

The components of Office 365 to install on Michelin PC

  • The components to install on your Michelin PC:

    • Skype for Business
    • OneDrive Enterprise

    You must necessarily be connected to the Michelin network to install components needed to use the Office 365 solution on your PC.

    To facilitate the installation, it is advisable not to perform the operation when connected from outside Michelin. However, if you cannot, for professional reasons, connect directly to the network Michelin, make sure you have a good Internet connection to perform these installations.

  • To know about migration:

    If you are not in ability to install these tools on the day of migration, know that it is by no means blocking. Indeed, the entire Office 365 solution is available directly through Firefox 24 or Internet Explorer 11 (Skype simplified version = Chat only).

Install and configure Skype for Business

To install and configure Skype for Business:

  1. Open Catalog SCCM through the shortcut on the Windows desktop
  2. Look for the "Skype" program and click "Install"
  3. When the installation is complete, go to the Windows Start menu and launch "Skype for Business 2015"
  4. Select the menu accessible via the "gear" and then select "Tools" and "Options"
  5. Enter your "connection address" in the "Personal" menu and then on select "Manual configuration" and for the internal server and external server, enter "sipdir.online.lync.com:443"
  6. Now log in using the same password as your PC

Install and configure Office 365 in your Michelin Smartphone

The components of Office 365 to install on Michelin Smartphone

  • The components to install on your Michelin Smartphone are:

    • The Company Portal
    • The email and calendar (Native Client or Outlook)
    • Skype for Business (Optional / Dependent on the version of your Smartphone)
    • OneDrive (Optional / Dependent on the version of your Smartphone).

    To access the services of the Office suite 365 Michelin on your Smartphone (iPhone or Android), you must have an account to use either the Apple portal application (App Store) or the Android application portal (Play Store ).

  • Create an Apple account:
    If your Michelin smartphone is an iPhone and you do not already have an Apple account, you need to create one. Indeed, without this account you will not be able to install and configure Office 365.

    • Fill in the required fields and use your Michelin email address
    • You will then receive an email allowing you to finalize the creation of the Apple account
  • Create a Google Account:
    If your Michelin smartphone is an Android and you do not have a Google account, you need to create one. Indeed, without this account you will not be able to install and configure Office 365.

    • Fill in the required fields and use your Michelin email address
    • You will then receive an email allowing you to finalize the creation of the Google account
  • To know about migration:

    Once you migrate to Office 365, you will no longer receive emails in Traveller.

    If you are not in ability to install these tools on the day of migration, know that it is by no means blocking. Indeed, you can access all of the Office 365 solution on your PC Michelin directly through Firefox 24 or Internet Explorer 11.

Install and configure the Company Portal

  • The Company Portal is a mandatory program to install which is required to use other components of Office 365. The enterprise portal allows to apply security rules as the lock screen with code and gives also ability to remotely reset the smartphone (in case of theft, for example).

    /!\ If you do not install it, you cannot configure your email, calendar, contacts ...

  • To install and configure the Company Portal:

    1. Launch your store (App Store or Play Store), locate the program "Company Portal" and then click "Get"
    2. After the installation, open the application and then use your Michelin email to log in,
    3. You will be redirected to Michelin connection screen. Enter your password and click "Login"
    4. Register your smartphone Michelin clicking "Register"
    5. Select "Install" to activate your Michelin smartphone management tools

Your Michelin smartphone can now be configured to receive your emails / events / contact with Office 365

 

  • To configure the Native Client from your Michelin smartphone:ure the Native Client from your Michelin smartphone:
  1. Go to the settings of your smartphone Michelin and select "Add Account"
  2. Select "Exchange"
  3. Enter your login and password and then finalize the installation.

Install and configure Office 365 on your Michelin Smartphone

  • To enable access to your mail, calendar, contacts on your Michelin smartphone after you install and configure your company portal, you have two options:

    • Install and configure the Outlook application available on the store
    • Configure the native client on your Michelin smartphone (Mail / Calendar / Contact)
  • To install and configure Outlook:

    1. Launch your store (App Store or Play Store), find the "Outlook" program, then click "Install"
    2. Complete the installation
    3. Launch the application and pass the handling steps
    4. Select "Office 365" to set up your account
    5. The connection is made from your company portal
    6. Outlook is ready to use (the first data synchronization is not immediate)

     

     

  • To configure the Native Client from your Michelin smartphone:

    1. Go to the settings of your smartphone Michelin and select "Add Account"
    2. Select "Exchange"
    3. Enter your login and password and then finalize the installation.
