The WHS Act defines your employees and subcontractors as workers, as such it makes it impossible to dilute your work health & safety responsibilities by using subcontractors as they become your workers with this in mind we would like to remind you of our subcontracting policy, which states our company requires all workers to be inducted in to our WHS management plan for our construction sites.

It is the obligation of the Principal Contractor that all materials, equipment and plant purchased or hired must conform to the relevant WHS legislation and Australian Standards. This also applies to materials ordered directly by trades.
