8b. Practice: Revisiting your early thinking

Revisiting your early thinking

Try it out: Diagram your process

  1. Create a diagram of the design thinking process you went through during this course, identifying the stages, tools, and methods you used.
  2. Add notes to your diagram about what worked well during this process, and what you might do differently next time you approach design thinking.

Share and reflect

Share your thoughts on the following topics with your problem-specific learning group:

  • Reflect on how your understanding of the problem and potential solution changed after undergoing a design thinking process.

  • Contrast your early ideas and assumptions you generated at the beginning of the course, with what you generated toward the end of your design thinking process. How are they different?

  • What are the pros and cons of design thinking based on your experience in this course?
