No contamination


 When food is not treated the right way, it can be infected by some dangerous bacteria. Salmonella, diarrhea and abdominal cramping are a big risk, which we want to prevent.

Which kind of Contaminations are there (multiple answers are possible)

  • Bacteria / Fungus
  • Chemicals: cleaning agents, oil, grease, pesticide residue
  • Fysical: dust, band-aid, cigarettes, glass, wood chips

Rules for buildings and machines

  • Clean machines and keep them clean
  • Protect agains vermin and rodents (mice, rats, flies)
  • No oil leakage on machines
  • No residue of cleaning agents
  • Keep coldstore clean and check of leakkage

What is required in production behind the red lines? (multiple answers are possible)

  • Gloves
  • Safety shoes

When you will touch the product gloves are required

Always think of:

  • Washing hands after toilet and eating
  • Change gloves when sneezed
  • Wash your clothes at at least 40 degrees
  • Use blue band-aid when injured

Food defense

Food defense is protection against intentional contamination or sabotage of product or production site

Therefore it's important to make sure all doors are not unneccesary open and no unexpected guests come in.

What to do when strangers are on the production site?

  • Notify line leader
  • Notify manager director
  • Send him or her away
  • Go on with your work


For visitors we have also rules:

  • No smoking, eating, drinking, bubble gum
  • Clean clothes
  • Cover hair
  • No contact to the product
  • Stay within the yellow lines
  • Sign form for visitor rules
